  I worked at IGA Greenslopes for exactly 2 weeks all was going ok until I adviced to the customer service manager Claire Wilgrave that I planned holidays for a period totalling 10 days which was in about 3 months time so than it all changed, this Claire firstly went on like psycho at me as if I had commited murder because the leave was over a busy trading period and that I didn't advice of the leave at my interview, than went to the length of spying on me through the CCTV to try and intimidate me saying I had visited the tea room area too frequently for a drink of water and to go to the toilet on one out of seven shifts and than went to the length of getting HR involved to have me terminated because I didn't request my leave before I was hired. As I was in my probation period I had now legal way of stopping this person, in my working life spanning over 15 years and having been a business owner myself I have never come accross such a bitter and twistered, backstabbing and intimidating person who is as cold as ice and not too mention cruel and in addition a gay guy hater also another interesting fact on my first shift a team member told me who was actually training me that most of the staff didn't like working for HG Retail (trading as IGA) and that allot had grievances.

  Excellent staff, beautiful barista always remembers my order. The staff on the counter are so, so friendly. Love the range of products they have, their prices are reasonable and they're open 6am until midnight! So good!

  There is an amazing array of brands and products available here. It's a bit more expensive then normal, but the variety and quality of food is worth it.

  Fresh produce is usually bad and prices aren't great. Not as good as other IGA
